# Suspend a Member

As a Digital Identity Management Admin, you can suspend admin users and revoke their administrative privileges temporarily. This action is available from the **Identity** page, and by selecting **Actions** > **Suspend User**.

1. Sign in to the Admin console.

2. Select **User Management** from the left menu to show the **Users** option. Select **Users**\*\*\*\*.

3. From the users list, select a specific user to open their **Identity** page.

4. To temporarily suspend the user, select **Actions** > **Suspend User** from the top-right corner.

5. Select one of the confirmation prompts:

   * **Suspend** prevents the user from authenticating or accessing resources/services.

**Note:** The user is logged out of all current sessions. User authentication is prevented until the suspension is removed.

   * **Cancel** stops the suspend action and returns you to the user's **Identity** page.

The selected user is now suspended. The user can no longer authenticate with Digital Identity Management or access related services (that is, they cannot sign in to your organization's applications that are using Digital Identity Management as the entry point). Digital Identity Management retains all user records, and from the Care console, you [remove suspension](reactivatingUser) to restore the user's access again.
