# Provider Email Fields

| Name | Description | Relevancy |
| - | - | - |
| **From** | The default from address for emails that are sent from this connection. | Required |
| **Host** | The hostname or IP address for your SMTP server. | Required e.g. your.smtp.host.com |
| **Port** | Port used for communications between the RP and SMTP server. | Required |
| **Username** | Your SMTP username used to logon on to email provider. | Required |
| **Password** | Your SMTP username used to logon on to email provider. | Required |
| **Encryption** | Select the type of encryption used by email provider to transport email. TSL (transport socket layer) and SSL (secure socket layer) are supported. | TSL/SSL |
