# Digital Identity Management 2024.04 - Release Notes

## Digital Identity Management Features and Enhancements

This section describes the key updates in this release:

### Billing Account Discovery Support

Digital Identity Management provides a Process API for onboarding and authenticating users with social accounts and external IDPs. The Digital Identity Management Process API has been enhanced to support billing account discovery and association as part of this release. Using this feature, customers can enable syncing billing accounts that have been associated with the user entity during the external IDP login.

### New Storefront Gateway APIs

**Purchase Subscription API Supports Multiple Products**

From this release, a new Storefront Gateway API is available that allows digital storefront applications to inquire about a subscription's price or execute purchases when there are multiple products in the shopping cart. This feature is especially helpful when a consumer is buying multiple products and may qualify for a promotion.

**Get Catalog API**

A new Storefront Gateway API is available that allows digital storefront applications to retrieve offers with pricing eligibility and discounts. As a result, consumers can see personalized pricing and/or eligibility while browsing the store.​

**Get All Transactions History API**

A new Storefront Gateway API is available that allows digital storefront applications to retrieve all subscription transactions.

### Storefront Gateway API Enhancements

**Get User Subscription's Billing Details API**

The Get User Subscription's Billing Details API has been enhanced to retrieve subscription details and the billing plan type, which allows storefront applications to show this information to users.

**Credit Card Autopay Validity Check**

The Purchase Subscription and Update Payment Method APIs have been updated to support the policy object. This object is optional. When the object is passed, the subscription service provider behaves based on the rules specified in this object.
