# Digital Identity Management 2024.09 - Release Notes

## Digital Identity Management Features and Enhancements

This section describes the key updates in this release:

### New Storefront Gateway API Returns User Subscriptions

As of this release, a new Storefront Gateway API is available to return the detailed information about a user's subscriptions.

Storefront apps can retrieve the details of a user's subscriptions with this API:

* GET /v3/subscription

### New Notification Dispatcher

With this release, Digital Identity Management has introduced a new notification dispatcher to support use cases where Storefront Gateway doesn't store the end user's mobile or email. Until now, Storefront Gateway has only supported email and SMS templates that needed a user's email or phone number. The new dispatcher allows customers to not share their PII data. This feature improves trust and compliance with data privacy regulations by minimizing the storage of sensitive information.

As of now, the following two Process APIs support the new notification dispatcher:

* Level of Assurance (LOA) Step-Up Process API
* User Impersonation Process API

In the future, we'll support more use cases.
