# Unregister authN ID as MFA errors

This topic covers some of the basic errors with the [Unregister Email or Mobile as MFA](c_unregisterAuthnAsMFA) Process.

## Invalid authN ID

If your client invokes this Process and supplies an invalid authN ID (either it does not exist, or it is not registered to the current user), then Digital Identity Management returns the following response:

```
**RESPONSE - body**
{
   "processId": "4c737519-eed8-4e14-a486-45038cfc237d",
   "lastStep": false,
   "processName": "userManagement.UnregisterAuthnIdentifierAsMFA.v1.0",
   "operationErrors": [
      {
         "code": "user-not-found",
         "type": "com.uxpsystems.mint.framework.commons.exception.ObjectNotFoundException",
         "message": "Failed to resolve authentication Identifier",
         "authorities": [
            {
               "authority": "ROLE_USER"
            }
         ]
      }
   ],
   "stepName": "StartStep"
}
```

## Error Codes

Below is a list of potential error codes that may be returned during the execution of this Process.

**Note:** See [Common Process Error Codes](c_commonProcessErrors).
