As a Digital Identity Management Admin user, you enable and configure social media integrations with one or more of our supported social media account providers. For more details on social connection settings, see About Social Connections Settings topic. This section explains the steps to enable and configure social media integrations into your application.
  1. Navigate to the Social Connections page by doing either of the following:
    • Sign in to the Admin console. By default, the OIDC Clients page appears. On the left-hand navigation panel, click Social Connections. The Social Connections page appears.
    • If you are already signed in and you are on any other page, then on the left-hand navigation panel, click Social Connections. The Social Connections page appears.
  2. To enable and configure a required social account provider, toggle the Enable {social provider} switch on.
  3. Enter the values of the following:
    1. Client ID - Enter the app/client ID issued by the social media provider. This ID is used for integration between Digital Identity Management and the selected social media provider.
    2. Redirect URL- Enter the redirect URL to your client application. This should point to a landing page that you or your developers build into the application. When the social provider redirects back to this page, it will pass along code and state values that your client will then pass back to Digital Identity Management using our GET /process/step?code={code value}&state={state value} API. This enables Digital Identity Management to complete the Process.
    3. Client secret - Enter the app/client secret issued by the social media provider. This shared secret key is used for integration between Digital Identity Management and the selected social media provider.
  4. Select one of the following prompts:
    • Save Changes to save your settings.
    • Discard to cancel all the changes.
The selected social integration(s) between your client and the social provider(s) are enabled and configured. These settings take immediate effect in your production staging and production environments. Your client can specify an enabled provider (in the providerId parameter) when it executes the social Processes. Note: You can disable a social integration at anytime by toggling the Enable {social provider} switch off. Parent topic:Social Connections Settings
