Business Information

Connect team needs some data points about your organization in order to provision your demo tenant in the system. Requested business information includes the name of your organization, website, address, country of operation, and other relevant information as required.

Use Case Checklist

Connect delivers, out of the box, some key business use cases and capabilities. Your organization is able to fulfill each use case when you integrate your application(s) with your Connect REST APIs and API-driven Processes. Some of the key use cases or capabilities are:
  • Onboarding
  • Authentication
  • Profile Management
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Account Association
Certain administrative capabilities are provided through the ULM 9 Admin console and ULM 9 Care console that your employees such as managers, system administrators, and customer service representatives can sign in to and use. If your organization wants to build certain Admin and Care functions into your own administrative or customer service applications, ULM 9 provides the relevant APIs for direct integration.

Authorized User Access

The ULM 9 team needs the list of persons from your organization who will serve as the Authorized User role or as your organization’s or product’s representative with ULM 9. Authorized users are designated individuals who are required to approve requests to modify the organization’s configurations, add or delete portal users, and modify roles. When submitting your organization and product information, include a list of authorized users by full name, along with their title, email address, and work phone number.

Product Support Email

The ULM 9 team recommends that your organization creates one or more email address to receive notifications from ULM 9 production support. Notifications may include information on specific product announcements, outcomes of root cause analysis, or information concerning process delays or interruptions that have a specific impact on your operations.

Network Operating Center (NOC) Contact

The ULM 9 team requires at least one person’s contact information, along with their email, phone, and third-party NOC contact (if applicable). These contact details are used to communicate mission critical information, such as network maintenance time windows, and relevant updates.

Super Admin

The ULM 9 team requires your organization to provide at least one user to have access to the ULM 9 Admin console as a Super Admin. The Admin console enables your key users assigned with an administrative role to manage the ULM 9 services as follows:
  • Provide full user-management functionality including role assignments via the Manage team members link
  • Create OIDC Clients or Relying Parties (RPs) for Single Sign-on
  • Configure Authentication settings such as password complexity rules, token formats, integration with supported social identity providers, and configuration of valid email or mobile formats
  • Customize the Identity app with Branding options to set up email or SMS providers and create your own notification templates
  • Modify Process logic with Security settings such as enabling Multi-Factor Authentication, recaptcha, and update user lockouts as required by your organization
When submitting your organization and product information, include a list of users that require Admin console access. For each user, include their full name, along with their title, email address, and work phone number. This information enables the Connect team to quickly provision their user accounts with administrative access.

Supported Devices

Connect team requires you to provide the client platforms that your organization’s application(s) will support such as web browsers, iOS devices, or others.

Technical Information

Connect team needs to know the following technical information about the application(s) your organization builds and delivers to users:
  • The operating system and version where the Connect client code will run.
  • The programming language and version used to invoke Connect interfaces.

Domain Name and Certificates

Your organization uses your own custom domain instead of an Amdocs subdomain. ULM 9 supports enforced HTTPS access and TLS v1.2 certificates with the Amdocs subdomain. Parent topic:Plan a ULM 9 Deployment
