  • We are in the process of updating the documentation and UIs to reflect current product names for the following:
    • IdP UI renamed to Identity app
    • Admin app renamed to Admin console
    • Care app renamed to Care console

Digital Identity Management Features and Enhancements

This section describes the key updates in this release:

Admin Single Sign-On (SSO)

From this release, Digital Identity Management introduces SSO for Admin users. Based on Digital Identity Management’s architecture, administrator portals function as RPs (Relying Party) within the organization’s tenant. After a successful Admin user login, all RPs are available without any more authentication prompts, thereby streamlining the user experience. Admin SSO enables seamless use of external IDPs for logins, admin portal accessibility, and improves credential management.

Admin Console

Search Users This new search feature in the Admin console facilitates more extensive searches for an Admin user with one of the following options:
  • Authentication ID (email, mobile, alias)
  • Display Name
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Internal User ID (primaryKey)
  • Social ID
Search User page User Details The redesign of the user details page provides more information about a selected user. This feature improves the user experience and allows admins to quickly access pertinent details, significantly improving user management and administration. Additional information that can be viewed now includes:
  • Display Name
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Preferred Contact
Admin User Details Page User Activity From this release, Admin users with the relevant permissions have the ability to see other Admins’ activity history for support and auditing. Admin User Activity Details Page

Identity Router

From this release, Digital Identity Management enhanced the Identity Router to support multiple organizations and domains. If more than one organization is associated with an email domain and the identity router can’t determine which domain to perform the search on, the user is prompted with a list of possible domains to select. Once the user chooses a specific domain, the search is completed to identify the correct organization.

Private JSON Web Token (JWT) Support

From this release, Digital Identity Management supports Private Key JWT (private_key_jwt client) to securely transmit information between two entities such as a client app and server. This method of client authentication is where the client creates and signs a JWT using its own private key. This authentication method​ is a prerequisite for financial applications requiring OpenID Connect FAPI 2.0.​

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Business Report

Digital Identity Management provides a new business report API that is generated when a customer executes the query. The report details the total number of users who registered at least one MFA.
